On 4 August 2003, the Chief Executive of the Institute of Financial Accountants (UK) ”IFA”, Mr Malcolm Dean and the President of the Society of Registered Financial Planners Limited “RFP-HK”, Dr. Sidney Sze signed a Mutual Recognition Agreement between the IFA and the RFP-HK.
2003年8月4日，英国财务会计师公会(IFA)执行总裁Malcolm Dean先生和香港注册财务策划师协会会长Sidney Sze 博士签署了一项IFA 和RFP-HK之间互相认可专业资格的协议。
The agreement gives members of both bodies reciprocal membership rights of the other organization at the same status. Both organizations encourage members to take up this opportunity and seek membership of both bodies.
该协议使IFA 和RFP-HK的会员在相互的机构中都有同等的，互惠的会员资格权利。双方机构都鼓励各自的会员能抓住机会，寻求到双方的会员资格。
RFP-HK and IFA-UK Reciprocal arrangement:

1. Offer a 2-month period (1 September 2003 – 31 October 2003) for the FULL members of both Society/Institute to apply for ‘Direct Entry/Admission'as Member of RFP-HK and IFA-UK, but the final approval membership will be evaluated by the individual council/board of director at their discretion.
